What is Yovii?
Yovii is a community information site that lets people share and find practical factual details about places before they visit. Things like whether a venue has parking, step-free access, Wi-Fi, outdoor seating, or accepts cash.
Is Yovii a review site?
No. Yovii is not a review or rating site. We only collect factual yes/no information. There are no star ratings, written reviews, or opinion-based content.
Where does the information come from?
Information on Yovii is submitted by the public. Anyone can answer questions about a place they have visited. The more people contribute, the more complete the information becomes.
Are answers verified?
Answers are not individually verified by Yovii before they appear. We show a confidence level based on how many people have answered and how consistent those answers are. Where confidence is low, treat the information as a starting point and confirm directly with the venue.
Why are some answers missing?
Yovii relies on the community to fill in answers. If a place has not been visited or answered yet, some or all questions may be unanswered. You can help by contributing what you know.
Can I add a place?
Yes. Use the Add place button to search for a place and add it to Yovii. Please only add real, public-facing places or venues available to visitors, customers, members or service users, and make sure the information you submit is accurate.
What should I do if something is wrong?
Use the report option on any place page to flag an issue. You can also contact us directly. We review all reports before taking action.
Should I rely on Yovii for accessibility information?
Yovii can help you plan and get a general picture of a venue's accessibility. However, you should always confirm accessibility details directly with the venue before you visit, especially if your needs are specific. Community answers may be out of date or incomplete.
Can businesses update their own details?
Not yet. At the moment, all information comes from community contributors. We plan to introduce a way for businesses to verify and update their own factual details in the future.
Do I need an account to contribute?
No. You can answer questions and add places without creating an account. Yovii uses an anonymous session stored in your browser to keep track of your contributions within a session.
Will there be rewards or contributor tracking later?
We are working on an optional way for regular contributors to track their contributions and take part in future rewards. It will always be optional. You will never need to sign up to contribute.
